Up early again. This sleeping craziness hopefully will get under control very soon. Todd and I left home at 7:15. Our first stop was Kohl's. We bought Orange Illinois shirts for all of us to wear to the game next weekend. Nothing else we needed there. We headed to Target next. We were looking for an Xbox case but they didn't have one. We didn't get anything there. Jewel was next for a few groceries and then home.
Mom and Dad dropped Cameron off around 9:30. Griffin was up puking all night so hopefully Cameron will not get whatever it was he had. We asked Cameron if he wanted his birthday present and of course he said yes. The bean bag chairs were stacked in the corner and he didn't even notice them. He pulled the blanket off and immediately sat in one. He liked them. Cameron played a little Xbox with Todd. They were playing Carnival Games and bowling. Cameron smoked Todd in bowling.

Pretty comfy. |
Grandma and Grandpa Wallace came over around 11. Aunt Pam, Uncle Doug, A.J. and Allison came over around 12. They were all coming up to celebrate Cameron's birthday. It was great having them all here. It has been a long time since we have all been together. We took some family pictures and then had lunch. We had some great conversations. A.J. had all kinds of funny library stories where he works in Clinton.

Finishing up lunch. |
Cameron opened his presents. He got the first 4 Captain Underpants books and a Lego set. We gave him his presents too. He opened the first one and it was a Kindle Fire case. He had the funniest look on his face. The next present was the Kindle charger. By this point he is laughing but I thought he was going to cry. We were having the conversation about him buying the Kindle (that was what he has been saving his money for). When he opened the first 2 presents he was saying he didn't want to buy the Kindle Fire anymore. He had this conversation earlier in the day with Todd. Now that he has an Xbox he wanted to spend all his money on games. I told him too bad we already bought the case and charger because he said he was buying it. I really thought there were tears coming. I handed him the last present and of course it was the Kindle Fire. He was super excited. He couldn't get it out of the box quick enough.

This was on his list too. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Wallace. |

He opened the Kindle Case and this was the charger. He is telling us
he wasn't going to buy the Kindle Fire anymore. |
 |
Thank goodness Mom and Dad bought the Kindle Fire too.
One happy boy. |
 |
He couldn't wait to start checking it out. |
Luckily Aunt Pam was here to help us with some questions we had. Cameron found some games he wanted but it wouldn't let him download them until he had money on his account. He was a little bummed but him and A.J. played some Xbox so then he was fine. Around 3:30 everyone was gone. Cameron and I ran to Jewel to get an Amazon gift card. Back home. Todd put the money in the account and Cameron started searching apps. He downloaded 2 games. He was pretty happy.

At 4:30 the Love's (Bill, Audrey, William, and Henry) came up. Loved having them here too. The kids immediately went to play while the adults chatted and watched the Illinois basketball game. We had Happy Joe's Pizza delivered for dinner. After we finished eating the kids decided it was present time. Before we could even get into the living room Henry (3) already had one present unwrapped. He was hilarious. The kids tore into everything. I think they all liked everything.

The M & M tin. |
We brought a helicopter back for the boys. We got it charged up and then they took turns flying it. One time when Henry was flying it it went a little crazy and crashed right into Audrey. It was funny. The helicopter was a huge hit. The boys each had a pack of the M & M's from the Chinese tin we brought them. William (6) started to put one of his Lego's together and then it was time for them to go.

Henry was pretty good at flying the helicopter. |

Henry worked so hard at trying to get to the M & M's. |
They packed everything up and were gone by 7:30. We get to spend the weekend with them next week at the Illinois game in Chicago. Looking forward to that. Everyone was in bed at 8:30.
