Getting started. |
Happy already and h had a lot to go. |
We continued to get all of our presents open. Cameron looked around but couldn't find Santa presents so he thought they would be in China. After a few hints from Todd he finally figured out they were behind the chair, under the little tree, and hidden under a blanket. Santa has always hid his presents under a blanket. Cameron got behind the chairs and pulled off the blanket. He couldn't believe how many Skylander Giants Santa brought him. But all of a sudden he said "Oh no. He didn't bring me the Portal. He gave me the Portal Owners pack." We told him we would get it worked out. Stinkin Santa messing up.
I wonder what is under here. |
Wowza, that is a lot of giants. |
Trying his luck with some lottery tickets. No winners. |
Illinois football snuggie. |
Some of the goods. |
As Cameron was getting all his controls out of boxes and checking everything out he said "Boy, Santa must be losing it. Maybe he should turn delivering presents over to his kid." Yeah, maybe. Overall I think everyone was very happy with Christmas. Another successful year and another year to count our blessings.
We were going to my parents at 11 so before that Cameron decided to play his new Star Wars game. Oh my goodness is it funny to watch him. He actually has to swing the light saber and throw the force. He also has to run and dodge. He got quite a workout playing the game. Love that. At least he isn't just sitting in a chair. His heart rate was up and his arms were sore. Sweet.
I got the keyboard for the IPad. I am loving it. I type my blog on the IPad when we are traveling and it is so hard using one finger and it takes forever. I connected the keyboard and it is so much easier. Neither Todd nor Cameron like the case but they didn't have many options. Those two are so much alike it drives me crazy sometimes.
My parents stopped by around 9:30 to see what Cameron received. Just as they were leaving Todd's parents stopped over. They stayed until about 10:45. We all got ready and went to my parents at 11:30 to celebrate Christmas Day. We watched an old video from Christmas of 2005. Cameron was 3, Griffin was 5, and Grace was 7. It was so funny. The kids couldn't believe they ever did such funny things.
Cousin love. |
My parents, My brother and his family, Aunt Sharon and Bill, and us had lunch. Mom made lasagna. It was really, really good. Just as we were about to eat two of my mom's cousins stopped by. We kind of felt bad but we went ahead and ate. We did invite them to eat with us but they had already eaten.
After lunch we sat around and talked. My dad's brother stopped by too. It was nice to see him. We reminisced a lot and told a lot of old, funny stories. Good times.
We headed home around 5:45. We cooked a frozen pizza, watched some tv, and went to bed. Another great Christmas Day.
