Christmas Eve

The boys left early and went looking around at Kmart and Walmart. They came back around 8:30. I slept until 7:45. They both had a funky look on their face like they were up to no good. Neither of them would tell me their secret.

We got ready and headed to Grandma and Grandpa Wallace's at 10:00. We hung out with Aunt Pam, Uncle Doug, A.J., Allison, Grandma, Grandpa, and Great Papa. We took a bunch of family photos. We had lunch around noon.

My family.

Cameron has put this puzzle together every year.  It is just
something he has to do.

He is so cute.

Two cool dudes.  Nice sweatshirt A.J.

Todd's sister and family...Uncle Doug, Aunt Pam, Allison, and A.J.

The Smith's and Wallace's.

Cameron was the only one ready for the photo.

Lunch time.

Presents were next. Cameron got a Lego and $100. He was pretty happy. Plus he had stuff in his stocking.  He also got the Skylander Giants book. He said "I got a book for something I don't even have but that's ok". Aunt Pam told him it was on his wish list that is why she bought it.  After presents we watched Jurassic Park. As Cameron was watching he was also reading the Skylander book. He picked out some guys he wanted. Grandma took Great Papa back to his retirement village. He was anxious to get back because they were playing Bingo for money.
Hmmm, I need some Skylanders now.

Money is always good.

The Lego he wanted.

We left for church at 4:15. It was pretty crowded but we found seats together. Mass started at 5:00. At 6:10 we were going up for communion so we decided we needed to leave to get to my parents once we had it. We got to my parents around 6:30. All my family was already there. They went to 4:30 mass.

We ate dinner and the boys were playing. We couldn't believe no one was asking to open presents. Finally Grace said "Is it present time?" This got the boys ready too. We took family photos then passed out presents.
Nobody would stop to get a picture.

The Wallace's again.

My parents with the grandkids.

Seriously, how many more pictures?

Finally, a cute one.

Goofy kids.

Each of the kids had 6 gifts. Griffin opened one, then Cameron, then Grace. They continued this order until they were all opened.  Grace is to the point where she picked everything out so she was happy. The boys were happy with their gifts also. Everything they got was on their lists too. Cameron got a video game, books, a couple of NERF guns, and NERF darts and clips.  Griffin got some funky Superman socks with red capes. He was thrilled. They are quite funny.
Ready to tear into presents.

Just Dance 4.

NERF gun 1.

NERF gun 2.

Stocking time.

The boys were so excited to get crow bars.  They get tools every year so by
the time they move out there tool box will be full.

Griffin put on our jersey we gave him and his new socks.
Lookin' good Griffin.

The boys played, Grace read, and adults opened their presents. We don't make them watch us because they get too bored. Cameron was getting very tired but instead of telling anyone he just looked sad. It was 10:00 so we packed everything up, said our goodbyes and thank you's, and headed home.
Scott and Kelly.

Todd and I.

Mom loves her calendar every year.

Cameron's Christmas jammies.

A great day with both of our families. Love them all.
