Kid Fun

I went over to they gym around 10:30 and Todd and Cameron started working in the kitchen.  When I got home they had made little pot pies.  They were so cute and yummy.  These would be great hors devours to take to a party.

Cameron and Todd went out and played in the snow for awhile.  They came inside but a little while later Cameron went back out to play with Manuel. 

From 2:30-4:30 we were at Ashanti's for a Kid Christmas Party.  Rachel and Anthony organized the afternoon. There were 21 kids ranging in age from 3-10.  They started off coloring place mats.  When they were finished Anthony ran them next door so they could be laminated.  The kids can now use them for Santa treats.

The kids made stockings next.  They had to weave the strings through to "sew" them together.  Those stockings later got filled with goodies.  The kids decorated 2 cookies next.  Of course they ate them too.  Bingo was the last activity.

B-I-N-G-O

Anthony served hot chocolate and grilled cheese sandwiches.  Not together.  The kids seemed to have a wonderful time.  While the kids were working all of a sudden Santa showed up.  All the big kids immediately knew it was Anthony but the little ones didn't.  Some were even afraid of him.  Cameron named him Santhony.  I thought that was pretty funny.

Great afternoon.  We had dinner, played a little bit of the Passport game, skyped, and off to bed.  Cameron went in our room at 9:15 saying he couldn't sleep.  Ok, get a drink, go the bathroom, and try again.  At 9:40 he was back saying he still couldn't sleep.  UGH!  I went and laid with him until he finally was out cold at 10:10.  I went back to my bed and finally got some sleep.
