TIS Choir

Cameron had to be at the Sheraton Hotel at 5:00 for dinner.  Everyone in the choir received a free buffet dinner.  We could have eaten with him but we chose to walk across the street to Papa John's with Ileana and the other kids.  We arrived there at 5:10.  We ordered at 5:15 and the girl told us it would be 15 minutes.  No problem.  We had to be back at the Sheraton at 6:00.

5:30...no pizza.  5:45 Todd was at the counter asking where our pizza's were.  5:50 we received all our pizza's and proceeded to shove them in.  I have never seen Alejandro and Marcela eat so fast.  5:58 we were walking/running back to the Sheraton.  Phew, they didn't start singing.  6:05 the TIS choir was taking the stage.

Our kids sang 4 or 5 songs.  As they were doing this, the staff of the Sheraton were walking around with wine and hors devours.  What a nice touch and surprise.  After the kids sang we went outside.  There was a count down and then the switch was thrown to light the big Christmas tree out front.  Pretty.

The TIS Choir singing at the Sheraton.

The American kind of sticks out.

A lot more people than I expected.

Alfredo and Cameron are in total concentration.

Cameron and the tree.

Immediately back inside and our kids took the stage again.  They sang a few more songs and then "Santa and his helpers" appeared.  Santa was skinny.  His beard kept falling off.  It was quite comical.  He passed out little stuffed stars and bags of cookies to all the kids.

Santa.

We rushed out and jumped in Carrasco's van.  We were in a hurry to get home.  We had a party to go to at 7:30 and it was 6:50.

Back home.  Cameron jumped in the shower and the Carraco kids were knocking on the door.
