Lots of Running Around--80 Weeks

The day started with Todd going to Walmart to return a gift Santa messed up on. I told him they opened at 6 so that is when he was there. Turns out they opened at 5. Todd bought the correct Skylander portal and a huge NERF gun. Oh, and some more accessories for the Xbox. He also brought home Subway breakfast sandwiches. Yummy. Those were a great way to start our morning.
This is a good breakfast.

At 7:30 we left to go Toys R Us to return NERF shields that won't work indoors. Cameron bought 2 more games with his own money. We then went to Best Buy in Davenport to see what they had. Nothing. Next stop was Passport Health to get Cameron a Typhoid shot. Quick and easy. Off for more shopping.

We went to Running Wild to get me good running shoes. I walked in and told the man working I needed shoes for a beginner runner who is running a half marathon in May on the Great Wall. He said we had to check out my feet to decided what shoe would work. He measured both my feet and saw I had a high arch (who knew). He pointed to the shoe I needed for the size, shape, and arch of my feet. As he was in back getting the box Cameron said "Mom, I know why he said you needed those shoes"...$140. Yikes. But when I put them on they felt really good. Sold.
Hope these help me run.

Next stop was Toys R Us in Davenport. Cameron looked around but didn't find anything he needed. Super Target was next. We bought Wipeout 2, that's it. Off to Walmart. Cameron decided he wanted a soccer game. He had his own money from Christmas so he bought it.

We headed to LeClaire, Iowa next. We told Ryley and Tobias we would go to the Pickers antique shop and take a picture for them. We were suppose to get our picture by a giant cowboy boot but they sold it a year ago. They watch the show and thought it was neat that we lived so close to the store. It wasn't very exciting.
The store is called Antique Archaelogy.

Cameron said he saw the episode when the Pickers bought these heads.

Their car has seen better days.

The store.  Pretty uneventful.

We went to BierStube for lunch. They have the most amazing giant pretzels. They were kind of donut like. Delicious. We all ordered sandwiches. We all only ate half of them. We took the rest home to eat later. Great restaurant.
All of our food.  Yum.

Back to Illinois. We hit the bank and grocery store then went home. Relaxed and played the rest of the day. My parents stopped over for awhile.  Todd grilled steaks for dinner.  We played some Wipeout on the Xbox and then went to bed.
