This afternoon at 2:00 all the parents were invited to the 4th grade classroom for the kids Poetry Reading. We went into the classroom and sat in tiny chairs. The kids were on the floor. Each student read 1-3 short pieces of poetry that they wrote. It wasn't the most interesting day but the kids were excited to have their parents in the classroom.
It only took 20 minutes for all the kids to read so the rest of the time was snack time. There were cookies, fruit, and some drinks. Cameron and I just sat and chatted. All of a sudden Cameron was laughing and he said "that's so gross". I asked what happened. He said he watched a dad pick up the serving fork for the fruit, stab a piece of fruit, eat it off the fork, then put the fork back. As him and I were laughing about this we watched another person do it. Good thing we didn't have anything to eat. GROSS!
