Surprise for Michelle

Ileeana and I ran to Tanggu to the flower shop.  We walked in and Mr. Xue immediately started dealing.  We found a bouquet we liked and the girl told us it was 150 rmb.  Mr. Xue started talking more.  They went back and forth.  We were wishing we knew what they were saying.  We finally walked out paying 120 rmb.  About 20 bucks for a huge bouquet of flowers is a pretty sweet deal.

Next stop was Ashanti.  Me, Ileana, Claudia, Megan, Andrea, Stine, and Erica were surprising Michelle with a belated birthday lunch.  Her birthday was last week but she was in Thailand.  I decided we needed to do something for her so I called on the girls.  She walked in and was shocked to see everyone.  She was so thankful.  She had a rough morning and all of us girls were just what she needed to cheer her up.  We had so many laughs.  The funniest conversation was about Mexico having a cow instead of Santa.  Michelle thought Stine was serious when she said this.  They do have a mouse instead of a tooth fairy but a cow instead of Santa?  Come on.

Picked Cameron up at school and went to the 3rd Avenue gym to sign up.  It is free for me to go for the rest of January.  Then they are closed from February 1-17 for the Chinese New Year.  My membership will start Feb. 18.  Not a bad deal.  It just stinks they are closed those 2 weeks.  It will be fun doing some classes with my friends.
