We went to bed at 4 and Cameron was back up at 6:45...all out of sorts too. After a few minutes he was normal again. I think he was delirious. I drug my booty out of bed around 8 though I was awake way before that. Our apartment was 55 degrees so it was much warmer in bed. We still hadn't asked for our heat to be turned on but we might need to change our mind. I started putting things away. Todd and Cameron had most of the duffel bags emptied and put away. It was mostly Cameron's NERF stuff so he was excited.
Todd went to work and Cameron had Ryley and Tobias up. He couldn't wait to share his new stuff. They walked in his room and saw all his new NERF guns. They immediately started shooting them all over the house. At one point I heard Ryley say "This is like Christmas all over". I think they were all pretty excited. They moved on to checking out the xbox and all the Skylanders even though it wasn't hooked up yet. They then played Mind Craft on the Ipad and Kindle. Ainsley came up to get them for lunch. She immediately asked Cameron what his surprise was. When he said Xbox she didn't seem very excited. We think she didn't know what it was because Cameron had to explain it to the boys. Once they saw the controllers they remembered playing it at Manuel's.
The boys had fun checking everything out. |

Cameron and I sat around freezing until we went to the store. Just as we were about to leave our relocation lady, Serena, came over to bring a portable heater for the laundry room. Our pipes were frozen so the washer and dishwasher wouldn't work. Off to the store. It was pretty bad that we were excited to get in the warm van. After getting groceries we picked Todd up at work and headed home.
Todd and Cameron worked on getting the Xbox hooked up. Cameron ran down to get the boys so they could play. They played Mind Craft. They must really like that game. When they left we had a pizza cook off. We wanted to use the oven for warmth. We ate and at 7:15 Cameron looked up at me while finishing his first piece of pizza and said "Can I please go to bed?" I said of course. He got ready and jumped in bed. He was exhausted. At least he knew to just give in and go to bed. Todd and I followed a half hour later.
