Yesterday I was eating Jell-o when Cameron, Ryley, and Tobias came in the apartment. Here is how the conversation went.
Ryley: What are you eating?
Me: Jell-0.
Ryley: Oh, Jell-o. I haven't had that in a long time.
Me: Would you like some?
Ryley: No, that's ok.
Me: Want to take a box home because I have plenty.
Ryley: No, thanks. My Mom probably wouldn't make it for us.
Me: Want me to make you some?
Ryley: No, that's ok (sounding sort of sad).
Of course, I went right to the kitchen. I whipped up a box of Jell-o and kept it in the refrigerator over night. I gave it to the boys as they left today. They were so happy and repeatedly said "thank you". Funny, good kids.
Today Ryley, Tobias, and Manuel came home with Cameron. Cameron asked if I could make muffins. Of course. Whipped them up and took them into the Wii Room. They were all so excited and scarfed them down. I limited them to 3 a piece. I didn't want to ruin their dinner.
I'm such a COOL MOM to so many kids. At least I think so.
