Funny Stuff--84 Weeks

84 weeks and the fun continues.

UPDATE:  I received an email from Carmen who is in charge of activities at school about my email yesterday.  She said the teacher, Ms. Terrell, was absent and no one told her so she didn't know there wouldn't be an adult at the club.  She also said they now have it in place that she is notified of all absences so she can notify parents if this happens again.  Ok, at least I got a response.  But, as a teacher, when I know I have duty or something and I am going to be out of work...I find someone to cover for me.  Shouldn't they do that too?  This isn't rocket science.  Whatever.

Ileana, June, Anna, Claudia, and I went to get a Thai foot massage.  It felt so good.  After working my poor legs so hard the last few days a massage is just what I needed.  My girl twisted me in ways I have never been twisted too.  My entire back cracked and it also felt so good.

On the way home we were sitting at a stop light.  I looked over and saw one of the street cleaners wearing bright orange pants and coat.  He was in the corner taking a pee.  Ileana and I were laughing and saying how we just can't believe that the Chinese do this right in the middle of public.  All of a sudden another guy wearing jeans and a black coat walked up and was staring at the guy taking the pee.  We watched the peeing guy shake it then put it away.  As he was doing this the guy in jeans walked over to him.  We thought maybe he was asking why he was peeing.  Nope.  They chatted for a minute then the orange guy walked away.  Jean guy walked over to the corner and started peeing.  Unbelievable.

What's even funnier is as we were watching this all go down Ileana was saying "That guy is probably telling the other guy it is his corner to pee in".  Just maybe she was right.  Maybe that was the conversation.  Too funny.

Around 1:15 Ileana came up so we could try again at getting games on Alfredo's Kindle.  We had my parents get an Amazon gift card.  We put the card number in the account on Tuesday and tried.  It wouldn't work.  We had Ileana take the credit card information out and still nothing.  We were trying it with her computer with her VPN.  Nothing.  Today she came up to try it with my computer and VPN.  We finally had success.  We looked at Alfredo's wish list and Ileana started downloading the free games he wanted.  In her excitement she accidentally download a $9 book.   She was freaking out for some strange reason. She kept saying "ooppps".  We were just so happy we finally figured it out.  We also realized her VPN says connected but it never gets a city in the states so it doesn't work.  She is going to get that fixed.

We rode home from school with Michelle, Maddy, and Haley because they were coming over to our apartment to play Wii bowling.  Cameron was showed them how to play and cheered them on.  Haley (4) would throw a ball.  If it hit none she would get the saddest face.  When it hit pins she jumped up and down with a huge smile.  Her emotions change faster than anyone I have ever seen.  Maddy (5) just went with the flow.  She was happy the whole time.  They had so much fun bowling with Cameron.

Haley came in, grabbed a blanket, and made herself at home.

Cameron showing the girls how it is done.

Maddy giving her best shot.

This was a good ball for Haley.  Look at that smile.

Cameron had to show Haley again how to throw the ball.
She forgot in between turns at first.
After the first game Cameron put it on the bowling that has 100 pins.  They really thought that was cool.  They loved hitting and watching all those pins fall.  Ryley came over so Michelle told Cameron he could go play if he wanted.  Of course he went outside.  The girls bowled a little longer and then we switched to Just Dance 3.  Boy did those girls have some moves.  After two songs they had to go home.  Again Haley got the saddest look on her face.  We asked her what was wrong.  She said "But I wanted to have a snack".  I asked them when they first came over if anyone wanted anything and it was no.  But since it was time to leave she wanted something.  I offered them Granola Bars from the U.S.  They were so excited.  They hated to leave but I promised they could come back any time.  Such sweet girls.

Shaking and moving.

Ryley, Tobias, and Alfredo came inside with Cameron and played until 6:00.  Skyped with my parents, talked to Todd, read, and went to bed.  I watched the beginning of the second season of Revenge too.
