Tuesday in Singapore

We slept in today until 7. Yes, that is the Wallace's sleeping in. Down to breakfast and then we headed out for the day. We jumped on the shuttle bus and rode it around until we ended up at Imbiah Lookout. Our first mission was to buy the Day Play Pass. There were 17 attractions for the price of one. We wanted to see how many we could get done. We started at the Tiger Sky Tower. We got inside and it rotated slowly and rose up so we had a great view of Sentosa and all of its surroundings.
Beautiful morning.

Sleepy head.

This warning sign was on our sliding glass door.

Waiting for the shuttle bus.

Going for a bus ride.

We made it to the lookout.

Tiger Sky Tower.

Great view.

A view of Singapore.

Second stop was Images of Singapore. This was a museum type attraction but still pretty cool to look at. We started with a 5 minute video and then were off to explore.
Going in to the museum.

These are the men we learned about in our video.

Third stop was the Luge. This was fun. The 3 of us got to go down together and we could have raced if we knew what the course was like and what to expect. Needless to say we all want to go back. We strapped on our helmets and sat down. After a quick lesson we were off down the street. I was trying to take pictures and drive. We took the course to the right. It was awesome.
Cameron and Todd cruising down the road.
Cute Luge boy.

Picture of the picture the Luge took of the 3 of us.

At the bottom was our fourth attraction. It was the skyride back up to the top. This was nothing more than a ski lift but it was nice with a great view again.

Riding the skyride.

The funny picture that was taken of us.

Our fifth stop was the Singapore Cable Car. We grabbed some cool drinks and snacks to have while cooling off in the cable car. The car went off Sentosa and back to Singapore mainland. We didn't get off we just rode it over and back. We saw Universal and the water park which we had been wondering where it was. Well worth it to ride the cable car.

We got the cab where people propose.

Love birds.

Cameron and the Angry Birds.

Our sixth stop was The Merlion. We were given a lucky coin when we went in. We watched a 5 minute video and then went up to the 10th floor. We got off the elevator and walked up some steps to the head of the Merlion. It was a great view again. Back down, down some more steps, and into the mouth of the Merlion. Here a really nice but odd boy took our pictures. He had us doing some odd poses. Every attraction has picture people trying to get you to buy. Back in the elevator and back to the ground level. We got to put our lucky coins in any Merlion head we wanted and it would give us a ticket with a prize letter on it. We then took that card to the gift shop to claim our prize. Todd and I both got a fan. Cameron got a lanyard.  WOW, how exciting.

On our way to The Merlion.

Inside.

Waiting for the little movie.

Putting in his magic coin.

Riding in the elevator.

View at the top.  The sun was bright.
In the mouth of The Merlion.

Our prizes.  WOW!

Just outside of The Merlion.

The whole sidewalk was covered.

Our seventh stop was Desparado which was a 3D "game". We went in and sat on a plastic, fake horse. There were 7 of us in this attraction. We watched an instruction video and then the "game" started. It was a shooting game. The horse moved around and we had to shoot things on the screen. After the first part it told who the worst player was. It was one of the other ladies. At the end it showed a picture of the number one player...Todd. This was fun.

Cameron is ready to go.

Todd and Cameron have their game faces on.

Our eighth stop was Extreme Log Ride. It was a 4D ride. We went in and got in a boat which each held 6 people. The 3 of us strapped on our seat belts and got ready. There was an instruction video and then the ride started. It jolted us around and then suddenly nothing. The movie kept going but the boat wasn't moving. Everyone was looking around wondering what the deal was. When it ended the lady came on and apologized for the glitch and said our ride would start again. This time it jerked us around the whole ride. It was pretty cool.

Our ninth stop was Pirates. It was a 4D movie. It was pretty good. When crabs came out they shot air out the bottom to make it feel like crabs were biting our ankles. Bats flew around us too. The seats jerked around a lot too.

These were all pretty cool.

We jumped back on the skyride and rode it down to the beach area. We had finished everything we wanted to do on Imbiah Lookout. The only thing we didn't do was the Butterfly Park and Insect Kingdom. This didn't appeal to any of us. At this point it was raining just a little bit.

Back in the beach area came our tenth attraction. It was Go Green Segway Fun Ride. We all had to strap on elbow pads, knee pads, and helmets. We each had a practice turn. It was go time. We each got one turn on the Segway track. It was a dirt track with twists and turns. This was my first time on a Segway and it was fun. By the time we made our lap it started raining hard. We got done just in time because we didn't get wet. As we stood under cover watching it poor Cameron asked if we would get him a Segway if we spent his Christmas money and birthday money together. Sure, the starting price is only $13,000. Dream on buddy.

Ready to drive the segway.

Waiting out the rain.

After about 20 minutes it was only drizzling again so we made our move to the eleventh stop. We jumped on the Wave House golf cart which took us to the Wave House Catch A Wave attraction. It was about a 3 minute ride. We got inside, through the restaurant, and out to where the wave pools were on the beach. It started pouring. We found a seat and watched people surfing in the rain in the wave pools. I always enjoy watching this. We ordered Pizza and meatballs stuffed with cheese while we waited out the rain. They finally had to close the wave pools because of lightening. After about 30 minutes it had stopped raining and the wave pools were back open. It was Cameron's turn. We each were suppose to get one turn but they allowed Cameron to use all 3. He was excited. He went out there and waited his turn. He jumped on the board on his belly. After a bit the instructor had him pull up to his knees. He rode that way a little bit then wiped out. His second and third turns were pretty much the same. He did great. He has done it before but today was the best and most comfortable he has looked doing it. There were two Indian Ladies with their kids sitting on the end of the wave pool watching. One of them looked at me and asked if I thought it would be ok if she tried it in her whole head to toe outfit. I said "I'm not really sure but they probably wouldn't care". She couldn't have thought I worked there since all the workers had shirts on that said staff. Two minutes later one of the real surfers in the wave pool sprayed water all over the Indian people. The baby got a face full of water. It was sort of funny.  When Cameron was done we went over to the other wave pool that had much more water and a big wave in it. We watched some guys try their luck. A couple guys were pretty good. It's cool to watch.

Cameron on his belly.

Waiting and watching others.

On his knees.

One foot up on the board.

This is not Cameron.  This was cool.

We walked to our twelve attraction next. It was the Flying Trapeze. We were very sad that it was closed. She said with the rain the equipment was wet and it wouldn't be open again today. Bummer.

We went back to our room. We all got our suits on and hit the pool. It felt pretty good to be relaxing and not walking anymore. Todd and Cameron played catch while I watched. Back to the room.

One of these is not like the others.

Nice pool.

Sliding in.

Ding and Dong.

Trying out one of the three slides.

We headed to our thirteenth attraction. It was Fort Siloso. We walked over there and saw some monkeys on the way. We watched them try to eat some chips out of a bag they found along side of the road. The baby was so cute. We continued down the road with the monkeys following us. We arrived at the Fort and it was closing. Aw man. We didn't realize they closed at 6. We stopped and watched the monkeys and peacocks for about 15 minutes. The monkeys were jumping all over a tree and flag pole. The peacocks kept trying to attack the monkeys. The mommy monkey was having no part of that. She was a great protector. One of the monkeys went to a puddle and started splashing in it. So cute.

This was the Easter Elf.  We didn't ask why he was really
dressed like this.

Such cute monkeys.

Cameron enjoyed watching these silly monkeys.

We walked back to the hotel. We chilled out for awhile. Todd and I watched a movie while Cameron played on his Kindle. I also worked on the blog. Cameron and I walked to Trapizza to get dinner while Todd had a call for work. Cameron and I went back to the pool for awhile too. It was fairly warm and a beautiful night.

Showers, tv, bed. Another very busy, great day. Just so you know the other attractions we didn't do were a bike ride, another museum, and a dinner coupon for McDonald's.
