Thursday In Singapore

Todd set the alarm for 6:01 so we could get to breakfast when it opened but when it went off no one got up. At 7:00 Cameron sat up and said "dad, it's 7:00". Everyone started moving then. Breakfast and back to the room until we left at 9:30. We walked to the bus stop to get on the bus to Resort World. We were spending the day at Adventure Cove Water Park.

Bought our tickets. We then found a locker. $10 Yikes! We immediately went to the water coaster first. Cameron rode with me. It was a blast. We did the racing slide next. We then went on the 2 tunnel rides. Cameron and Todd then rode the two other tunnel rides trying to find the toilet bowl.

We couldn't wait to start this day at the water park.

Here come the boys.

Cameron and I rode the second tube ride.

Todd and Cameron coming off another slide.

Cameron was having fun.

We then rode the lazy river. It was huge. At one point on it we could see the stingray tank where people were in it feeding them. We got off the river and tried to sign up to the feeding but then decided not to do it.

Riding the lazy river.

Very relaxing.

Cameron might fall asleep.

Floating through the aquarium.

We went snorkeling next. We put life jackets on and got our masks. The guy told us to get in the water. We put our feet in and it was cold. He then told us to sit down in it. Brrrrr. He gave us the rules and then sent us in one at a time. Once in the water we could swim around together. It was pretty cool. Lots of pretty fish. At one point Todd grabbed a leg and pulled the person back. He took a picture but then realized it wasn't me. Funny. The GUY probably thought he was crazy.

Mom.

Cameron.

Dad.

Pretty fish.

Random guy.

After snorkeling Todd went back to the locker while Cameron and I rode a water slide. The lines were really long by now. When we met back up with Todd we discussed our plan. Cameron wanted to do the lazy river one last time and then he wanted to leave. His water fix had been met. Plus, the water park wasn't as good as a lot of others we had been too so he was ready for something else. We liked it but we had already been there for 4 hours.

Rode the lazy river and this time we got to see a dolphin being exercised. I love dolphins. He was so cute. We got out by our locker and grabbed our stuff. We then found some air blowers Todd walked passed in a cave. We tried drying the boys shirts and all of our suits so we could go to lunch. I'm sure we looked pretty red neck doing this. Oh well, we didn't know anyone.

Last ride on the lazy river.

Lunch at Hard Rock Cafe was next. On our way there it started POURING down rain. Luckily there was an over head cover the whole way. We got to the restaurant and ordered. Cameron got a Legendary Burger, which was huge, and I got a BBQ Bacon Burger, which was also big. Todd got some crazy seafood platter. We were all in heaven...good eats.

Time to get our grub on.

Cheers.

Cameron posed me like this to take the picture.

That was a good looking burger.

We hit the Maritime Museum which was very small and odd but it was free with our S.E.A. Aquarium ticket. We hit that place next. It was pretty cool. They had some big, colorful tanks. Lots of cool looking fish. They also had some not so cute fish. We discovered everything there and headed back to the bus stop.

Walking through the Maritime Museum.

In the S.E.A. Aquarium.

Looking at the fish.

This was a big tank.

This fish was huge.

So true.

Another big, colorful tank.

On the bus and back to the hotel. We changed and went to the pool. It started to rain and then lightening came in the area. We hung out under an umbrella at the bar for awhile and then went back to the room.

The bus is coming.

We changed and went to the Rasa Rendezvous. It was a special invitation for Diamond Members. All this means is Todd spends a lot of time in Shengri La hotels and it was just another benefit for us...free drinks and hours devours. We stayed about a half hour. Back to the room.

Todd had to wipe the water off the lenses so
Cameron could see.

Trying some of the snacks.

Waiting for more snacks to be brought to our table.

We had to wear name tags.  I wanted to put a fake name.

Why bother making an ice cream cone this small?

I bet Cameron he wouldn't get a balloon toy but he did it.
Then they made him pose with this other boy for a picture.
He was not impressed.

Luckily he got a sword and not a flower.

We ordered room service for dinner and watched Harriet The Spy. Off to bed.

Good food.

Yummy spaghetti.
