Today, Todd and Cameron were camping on the Great Wall with 45 other people. I can't wait to get home and hear all about their trip. I was suppose to call them at 8:00 but I couldn't get through. I sent a text and email to Ileana because I know her phone is always on. I didn't hear anything back. I decided to send Peter a message asking him to tell Todd to turn his phone on. Didn't hear anything. After trying to call for two hours on and off I finally decided they must not have service. One of those people would have text me back otherwise.
I went on with my day. I ran out to Todd's parents house to see them for a little bit. Then I picked my parents up. We went to Lowes to look at bathroom stuff. We went to Wendy's for lunch. Yum, junior bacon cheese burgers. We went to a Ford dealer to check out Explorers. Still not sold on them but they are growing on me. We went to Kmart to get a few last minute things I needed. Then back to my house. Since it was sort of nice out my dad and I drove the tractor around a little bit. She's sweet! We then put the stuff from my classroom into tubs instead of boxes. Off to my parents.

We had about an hour to kill before we started getting ready for Grace's confirmation. We were at church at 4. I went to my designated sponsor spot and waited for Grace. The kids came in and the director started getting everyone lined up. She was a little stressed or something because she was yelling and barking orders. We walked over to church 10 minutes before we needed to so we had to stand outside. Church was packed. Luckily the sun was out and it was a little warmer.
Into church. Grace was the leader. Her parents won a prize at a fundraiser which meant Grace could be first for everything, they could pick any pew for the family to sit in so they had the best seats, and they got a reserved parking spot. Pretty cool.

Mass was nice. During Monsignors homily I could feel myself getting very tired. My eyes were heavy. I kept squirming so I didn't fall asleep. Once he was finished I caught a second wind and was fine the rest of mass. After church we had a few pictures and then went to my brothers for dinner.

They had a local (delicious) Mexican restaurant cater the food. The chicken was to die for. My brother joked when it was gone...he asked if I wanted to lick the crock pot since I ate most of it. I made sure everyone got some at least once before devouring the rest. They also had cupcakes and cookies for dessert.

Grace opened her presents. I got her a Pandora bracelet with the Faith charm on it. She really liked it. They got me a gift for being her sponsor. It was a Pandora charm with a hanging cross.Not necessary but I LOVE it! I told Grace we must be like twins to think of the same gift.

I got a little choked up reading the card from them. They were all so happy and appreciative that I came back. I wouldn't have missed it for the world. It meant so much to me that Grace chose me to be her sponsor. This long trip home was more than worth it. Nothing beats quality time with the ones I love.
Around 9:00 I was almost a zombie. I was having a hard time staying awake. We were beginning to wrap things up when I got a text from Todd. I could finally call and talk to them.
I heard a little about their trip. They were on the bus headed back to TEDA so we didn't chat very long. I was just happy to hear his voice. Once I was off the phone we said our goodbyes and went back to my parents. Off to bed. 4:00 a.m. was going to come fast.
