Last Day In Singapore

We had plans to get up at 6 again but since it was POURING with thunder and lightening, we decided to sleep longer. We wanted to go to the beach after breakfast but that plan had to change. 7:30 hit breakfast. Back to the room to watch cartoons for awhile.

We walked down to the zip line place and realized they didn't open until 11. We jumped on the tram and rode it down to the Luge place. We bought 5 turns for each of us. We took the skyride up, grabbed our helmets, and waited in line behind a bunch of Chinese people. Our turn. After the instructions we were off. Todd took the path to the right and Cameron and I took the path to the left. We caught up with the Chinese couple that went way before us. We blew past them. Where the two tracks came together we realized Todd was in front of us. Darn it, he beat us. Back on the skyride and ready for turn two.  This time we went on the opposite tracks and Todd beat us again.

Cameron wore the correct shirt for this picture.

Some helmets fit better than others.

Cameron was bringing it in after a great run.

Off to Mega Zipline. We paid and jumped on the golf cart which took us up to the zip site. We got strapped in to our gear. We went up to the first level because Cameron and I were doing the giant rope obstacle course first. We started off and it wasn't too bad. But then the obstacles were getting harder for me. I was getting cramps in my hands from holding on to my harness and ropes so much. It was also SO hot. Cameron and I were soaked and dripping sweat by the time we got course one done.

We were about to get hooked up.

First obstacle.

Good thing I am a nice Mom to do this with Cameron.

He made the jump.

I still have a long way to go.

We had to slide on this tire.

I'm like Spiderman.

We started the second course and Cameron said he wasn't feeling very well. He was so hot and I was sure he needed a drink. I yelled at Todd to find him something so he had it ready when we were done. Cameron and I continued but he was fighting back tears. Poor kid.  I felt so bad for him. I'm pretty sure if he could have he would have stopped. We finally got done and Cameron sat in the shade and drank some water. He had a headache but we still needed to zip line down.

Starting the second course.

We were way up there.

We were discussing how to get across this obstacle.  It was
by far the hardest.

Cameron got frustrated but continued on and made it.

We were thankful we didn't have to do the third course.

Cameron was done and happy to be off the course.

We headed to the top level and waited to zip. Luckily there were fans blowing to cool us down a little. We were strapped in and ready to go. On the count of 3 we were zipping down across the beach. We made it to the other side and walked down, across the bridge, and back to the starting point. We got another water for Cameron.

We walked back to the room. Cameron said his head hurt and he wasn't feeling very good. Back in the room and Cameron hit the bathroom. He had an issue and thank goodness he made it back to the room. He got right in the bed and laid down to watch tv. Ok, he obviously wasn't right. I went and sat in the sun on the porch. Todd ran to the Hot Dog King to get a hot dog and Vitamin water for Cameron. Once Cameron had those in his belly he felt much better again.

We went down to the pool. Todd and Cameron played some catch and then we played Monkey In The Middle. Back up to the room. We took another little break and changed.

We went back to the Luge next. It was pretty busy. We rode the skyride up and grabbed our helmets. Raced down. We had do dodge around a lot of slow pokes on the way down. Back on the skyride. We were in line when Cameron said we could go in the short line because we had multiple rides. We decided to try it. Sure enough, if you had a Luge stamp you could go in the short line. Sweet! Down the Luge again. One more turn to go. Up the skyride and back down the Luge. Lots of fun.

We jumped on the tram and stopped by the trapeze to see if Cameron wanted to try it. He wasn't feeling his best again so he didn't want to do it. We ordered food from Trapizza to take back to the room. About 15 minutes later we were walking back to the room. I tried to find an open washing machine but every floor had laundry in the machines. I went back to the room.  After 45 minutes I ran to the 4th floor washer. It had 5 minutes left so I waited. A Chinese guy cut in front of me like he was going to put his laundry in next. I told him I was next. He looked around with a look of 'oh you were waiting'. Duh! The lady grabbed her laundry and I through mine in. We waited until the sun was off the pool and headed back down. I decided to just watch this time.

Back to the room, grabbed the laundry, and packed up to go home. We went to bed early since we had to get up early.
