Tuesday

We all took Cameron to school because we were going to walk home for some exercise. However, the weather didn't cooperate. It was raining. Bummer. Back home. We had breakfast, watched some tv, and got ready.

At 11:00 Mr. Xue picked us up to go to Florencia Village in Tianjin. It was the outlet mall. I needed to get a birthday present for Herman. His birthday party was on Wednesday. Dad couldn't believe we drove for an hour to go to a toy store. Things are cheaper there though. I ended up getting a Monopoly game that has 22 of the top China cities to visit. It was so neat I bought one for us too. We looked around the mall a little more. Went in Gap but things were still expensive.

Dad really wanted a ride in the Gondola but it wasn't operating.

We decided to get some lunch. We went to Subway. We all got a sandwich and enjoyed it. Afterwards Mom saw a bunch of people eating ice cream cones so we decided to see where they were getting them. It was KFC. Mom was not impressed and did not want KFC ice cream. We think she was hoping for Dairy Queen. No ice cream for us

A little taste of home.

Back in the car. We drove by the new amusement park called Triumph Kingdom. We parked in the lot and walked up as close as we could. We checked out prices and got a couple of maps. The roller coaster looks cool. We are going to have to go back.

Drove back to TEDA. We went right to school. We got Cameron, Alfredo, and Marcela's stuff. We followed the bus to bowling. Cameron bowled with Alfredo, Brad, and Simon. It was mostly ugly. They finally started getting serious and bowled pretty well. I think it was hard for my Mom since she is the president of her bowling league. I think she wanted to tell them how to do bowl but she didn't.

After bowling we grabbed all the kids and loaded in the van. Back home. Cameron did his homework and then played. We grilled out again. This time we had pork chops, stuffed chilacas, cabbage, and corn. Another good meal.

Another game of Euchre. Cameron was one lucky kid tonight. Him and Dad beat us. It was a great game. Off to bed.
