Taxi Thursday

Up and sent Cameron to school with Carrasco's.  Actually they all rode with another friend, Alejandro, because neither of us had drivers.

We got ready and jumped in a taxi. We went to Polar Ocean World in Tanggu. Its an aquarium. As we went across the bridge the taxi driver asked me where it was. Beats me. I told him I thought it was right, towards the river, but he went left. He didn't go very far then pulled over and called someone. He turned around and found the aquarium. Paid and jumped out. We commented that there were no taxis and I should have paid him to wait but I didn't. He pulled around the corner and stopped, got out, and peed. Classy.

Into the aquarium. Mom and Dad got in for half price because they are elders. My Dad had to show his drivers license which did nothing but confuse the girl. She had no idea what to look for. She just gave it to them, gave us our tickets, and we went in.

There was no one there. It was great. We first saw all the penguins. They were so cute.

We continued to check everything out. It was such a nice aquarium. After an hour we went outside to go home. We could not find a taxi. We asked some guards and they told us to walk down a street. We did and it was a much busier street so we found a taxi.

He took us to cold food warehouse to look for egg noodles but they didn't have any. Back in the taxi and he took us to Warner.

Mom and dad stayed home while I went to lunch with Rachel, Michelle, Megan, Erica, and Andrea. We had to plan United Nations Day for Cameron's school. We got a lot done and organized. Very productive meeting.

Back home to get my parents. We walked to school. Grabbed Cameron and Marcela.. Jumped in a taxi to go home. I gave my Dad a haircut.

Cameron had a Nerf war with Ryley, Tobias, Manuel, and Edgar. He is a New Mexican boy in Cameron's class. His family just moved into Warner so the kids gang just got bigger.

Mom and I sewed the bones on Cameron's sweatshirt for his Halloween costume. Then Mom made chicken and noodles for dinner. Dad was a great supervisor. We had to use different noodles but it still turned out yummy.

After dinner Todd and Cameron got haircuts. More issues with the clippers so it took longer. What a pain.

Todd had calls so the rest of us played Euchre. Stinking boys won so it is tied up 4-4. Next winner will be crowned the champion. Off to bed.
