Phuket--Last Day

What a great last day. We got up, had breakfast, and rented bikes again. We rode down to the beach. Cameron played around in the water for a bit and then we got back on our bikes. Mom and I had much better seats this time so it didn't hurt our rears at all. We rode to the entrance of our road so we could take pictures of the sign. We then went back to the resort.

The pool was our next stop. We were in there for hours until lunch. Mom even did some water aerobics. She just couldn't help herself. We played PIG with basketball. We went back to our room to eat. Cameron had another pineapple and chicken pizza. Man, he loved that pizza all week. He also polished off the left over ribs.

After lunch we went back to the pool. We played some volleyball again. The activities department had a walk on water contest. Cameron and a few other kids were trying it. A guy tried so Todd decided he needed to try it. Cameron finally made it clear across. I finally tried but only made it to the second step. It was funny watching everyone. The girls were making Popsicles.  They had metal test tube looking things in a metal tub and they had to spin it back and forth until they froze.  There was a bunch of ice inside the tub.  Cameron and the other kids helped them out.  Good Popsicles.

Back to the room to take a break from the sun. We sat out on our patio and Cameron swam in our pool. We headed back to the big pool to play more volleyball. We also played Monkey in the Middle. We were all finally water logged. We went back to our room and showered. We had a watermelon snack, packed, and lounged around until dinner.

We decided to order food from the bar. Hot dogs, pizza, and some crazy Thai dish for Todd. We also got Cameron a banana smoothie. Oh, and we tried a sugar donut. It was good. Tasted just like the kind from the QC. We shared it so it was just enough. Dinner was delivered to put room. We ate then played for the Euchre championship. It was a close game but Mom and I won. We watched a little tv and then it was time to leave.

At 9:00 p.m. our van picked us up to go to the airport. We have never flown over night before. We got to the airport and to our gate. We left Todd with the bags and the rest of us walked around looking in shops. We had 2 hours to kill and the shops took 10 minutes.

Cameron and Grandma played UNO. Grandpa played his AARP IPad...again. Boarded and by the time we were in the air Cameron was asleep. We all slept most of the time. It's pretty weird flying out at midnight.
