They're Back

I picked Cameron up at 3:00 and we drove to Beijing.  Todd was suppose to fly in at 6:00 but it ended up being 7:00.  So Cameron and I had time to kill.  We first went to Euro Plaza because he was about to wet himself.  Found a bathroom then went down to the DVD store to look around.  He found a couple movies he wanted but luckily the girls working told us they were not the best quality.  She showed us on the DVD player.  The words did not match their lips.  That is very irritating when watching a movie so we did not buy them.  We did buy Rosetta Stone Spanish.

We then went to Jenny Wang's.  First stop in there was the toy shop.  I bought Cameron a little Nerf dart gun there the other day and we went back to get 4 more.  Cameron wanted another one and I promised his 3 buddies I would get all of them one.  We found some groceries we needed and the duck breasts Todd likes.  However, when checking out they did not have a price on them.  5 different people tried to find a price but couldn't.  So needless to say we didn't get to buy them.  I tried to get them for free but they laughed at me.

We still had time to kill so we stopped at the toy store down the road that we have been in before.  Next door to it was a store that sells Chinese things like magnets, book marks, etc.  There are some pretty cool things in there.  We decided we need to take Todd back there.  Into the toy store.  We were looking at some Halloween stuff when Todd called and said he had just landed.  We jumped in the van and went to the airport.

Todd jumped in and we were on our way to The Filling Station for dinner when we hit a huge traffic jam.  It took us quite awhile to get there.  Went in the restaurant and ordered our food.  Cameron ordered chicken and ribs.  Todd decided to share that with him.  I ordered chicken fajitas.  Everything was delicious.  We sat around looking at an I Spy book killing time.  At 9:00 we ordered a scoop of chocolate ice cream and a scoop of strawberry ice cream.  Pretty yummy.  We paid and went down to the van.

Back to Jenny Wang's for Todd to look around.  Back to the airport.  We arrived there at 10:00 and my parents weren't scheduled to arrive until 11:55.  We sat in the van.  Cameron played on the Ipad and I fell asleep.  At 10:45 we ventured inside.  We sat and waited.  At 12:00 a.m. the board said they had landed.  Cameron and I went and stood by the big doors.  We finally saw them waiting for their luggage.  They spotted us and waved.  Grabbed all the luggage, hit the bathroom, and out to the van.  Mr. Xue was out like a light in the drivers seat.  Todd knocked on the door to wake him up.  Loaded the van and headed to TEDA.

We entered one of the toll booths.  We stopped and Mr. Xue rolled the window down but the girl inside didn't move.  She had her head down.  She was sound to sleep.  Mr. Xue honked the horn and she sat up like a lightening bolt.  We are pretty sure it made her wet her pants.  He scared her.  Of course we all laughed.  We continued towards home.

2:50 a.m. we entered the apartment.  Cameron jumped in the shower and then off to bed.  We decided he wasn't going to go to school.  4 hours of sleep isn't quite enough for a 9 year old.  Todd and I were going to sleep in Cameron's room but I told Cameron to sleep in there because it is really dark.  He would sleep longer.  I slept on the futon in the Wii room.  My parents unpacked and finally went to bed at 4:30.
