We walked in and I was amazed that there were a lot of empty booths. There wasn't any of the fun Chinese things to buy. There was a lot of the "junk" as Cameron calls it. We walked up and down the aisles checking things out.
Here are some one of a kind bracelets. |
Sharla asked how much one rock was. 6000 RMB ($950) |
These people were going crazy for these for some reason. |
Look at all of them trying to find the perfect something. |
This man saw us and started playing "Happy Birthday" on the zylophone. But he was singing "Happy New Year To You". Funny. |
At 9:45 we went to the furniture store. We walked in and the place was big. A lot of little furniture shops were inside. We looked in many stores. I bought a big Chinese basket looking thing. It was cheap and I thought it would be a great thing to take back to the States.
After an hour or so of shopping we jumped back in the van to head to Element Fresh to eat lunch. The traffic was HORRIBLE. Sharla's driver was dying. He took a side road and tried to bypass the traffic but it didn't work. It took forever to go a few miles.
We were finally at Element Fresh. We had a nice lunch and then went to Sunny Gold Street to see if my purse lady was still there. She was but said she will be moving to a new location soon. We looked around and bought a purse. Back in the van and went back to TEDA.
Cameron got home from school and handed me a magazine. Inside is a big ad for his school. His picture is in the ad. Pretty cool. He's famous.
This is the Korean Magazine Cameron is in. |
Here is Cameron in the ad. Cute. |
