Forest Park

Up at 8:03 and waited for Cameron to get home.  Did some laundry and watched some tv.  Finally at 12:00 Cameron was home.  I had sent an email and a text telling Ileana to send him up whenever she wanted but they kids were playing and having fun.

At 12:30 we loaded up the van with coolers, scooters, and people and went to the mall so we could get Subway and McDonald's for lunch.  We then went to Forest Park.  We unloaded and put Alejandro's roller blades on.  We made the 20 minute walk back to the park.  Found a spot to set up our picnic.  Everyone ate and then the kids went and played.

Entering Forest Park.

Lunch time.

These 3 were starving kids.

Hard to tell but this dog hat bright pink ears.

Here comes the good news/bad news part of the day.  Alejandro wanted me to push him on the merry go round.  He jumped on and I gave him the slowest push ever.  He laughed and said "faster".  I told him ok and to hold on.  I spun it, his eyes got huge, and he flew off and landed on the ground on his back.  He started bawling. That is the bad news.  The good news is he wasn't hurt.  It scared him more than anything.  I felt TERRIBLE.  I kept apologizing.  Luckily he forgave me.  He wouldn't let me push him again but he wasn't mad at me anymore.

Alejandro is all better thank goodness.

These boys were having fun on these things.

Cameron was sick after going around, and around, and around.

At 4:30 we decided to head back home.  We skyped with my parents and Grace and Griffin and then went to bed.  We were both exhausted.
