Today started off by Cameron going to Ileana's to stay with the kids and the ayi. Her and I went to school to help with the new parent orientation. We had to run the question and answer session for the English speaking parents. Peter and Carmen were with us so it wasn't bad. There are a ton of new parents and kids though. We met Michelle who is a new girl from Kansas and works for the same company as us. She is super nice.
When we left school we ran to the mall to stop by Subway and pick up lunch. Back to the apartment to get ready for the beach. Leo took us out there at 11:45. Our VIP gate is no longer available so we had to pay. Bummer. We found Peter and his boys and set up our stuff. The kids were all playing and we were just chatting. Ileana finally said "Who wants a beer?" All three of us walked to our stuff and got a beer out of our bags. We just needed someone to break the ice. All of a sudden we saw 4 Chinese guys in man-kinis walking towards us singing. One of them stopped to talk to me. He said "Are you from America?" I said yes. He said "Do you speak English?" I said yes although I so badly wanted to say no. These 4 were obviously very drunk. They walked away and all we could do was laugh.

Peter was getting ready to leave and here came the 4 drunk guys again. They wanted to get their picture taken with him. Peter asked them how many beers they had had. The only thing they could say was they had a huge amount of beer and asked Peter if he wanted some. Peter had his picture taken with them and then sent them on their way. Again we had a good laugh at them.

Luz, Marina, and baby Maya came out to the beach around 2:30. It was cooling off and getting dark. Peter sent me a text warning me that the rain was coming. We aren't sure why we didn't take his advice but we didn't. Instead we stood around chatting. All of a sudden one of the kids said "It's raining". It was sprinkling but it quickly turned into a down pour. Luz, Marina, and the baby were quickly into a vehicle before they were drenched but the rest of us...not so much. All we could do was laugh. We stood by the bathrooms under a roof taking pictures and cracking up laughing. This caused some of the Chinese to start laughing at us as well. We were some pretty good entertainment for them. Leo finally pulled up and we loaded the van. I looked over and saw one of our drunk friends sitting in a big puddle rinsing himself off. I was trying to take a picture. Leo saw me, started laughing, and drove me right next to him so I could get a good picture. I rolled the window down and said "Hey, pijiu (beer)". I took the picture and he gave me a thumbs up. All of us were cracking up laughing.

The little things in life, like a rainstorm, can be the funnest times. We sure had a lot of laughs in the rain today. Good times...Good times!!
Cameron learned a new trick down at Carrasco's. He said "Mom, I bet I can touch my head on the top of your door." I said "really?" Next thing I knew he was climbing the door like a monkey. What a goofball.
