Woke Cameron up at 6:30. He jumped right up, made his bed, put his clothes on, and ate breakfast. He wanted Lucky Charms for his back to school breakfast. He got his lunch made, filled up his water bottle, and packed his back pack. As he was doing that he saw something in his book bag. He pulled it out and it was a new Wii game. He thanked me but I told him I had nothing to do with it. He looked harder in his bag and found a note. It was from the Back Pack Fairy. He was so excited.

30 fun fitness games. |
We met the Carrasco's outside for a quick photo and then jumped in the van to get to school. Cameron immediately found where 4th grade lines up and stood around with his classmates. Of course, he was quiet...school mode. I took some pictures with him and his friends and then Mr. Singer picked them up to take them to their room. We said our goodbye's and he was off to start 4th grade. What a big kid.

Great friends. |
I was happy to see all of my friends too. We will be able to get back in the Mommy mode having lunch, getting mani/pedi's, and massages. Oh the joys of being a stay at home Mommy in China.
I went out to get in the van and I glanced over at the school bus. What did I see? Cameron, Manuel, and Jacky's big bodies on the side. How funny is that? Took out the video camera and shot a little footage and then took pictures. Mr. Xue, Leo, and a couple other drivers were laughing at me. Hey, it's not everyday my kids picture ends up on the side of a bus. It's so cool.

Yep, that is Cameron on the side of the bus. |

Loriana, Sunny, and Charlotte are on the other side of the bus. |
Ileana and I went to George's to get a new button for Cameron's shirt, then to a kitchen store to buy her a vacuum cleaner like ours, then we went to the Tanggu Veggie Market but it was no longer there. Completely empty. We both sat there confused for a second. I then asked Leo to drive around the corner to see if that entrance was open back where our chicken lady was. Nope. The door was down. Ileana asked Leo about chicken so he took us to a different market. On the way there Leo started flapping his arms and clucking. He then gave the running around motion then a gun shot motion. Ileana and I both said "NO". Leo started cracking up laughing. We were not sure what we were about to get ourselves into. Leo parked and sent us in. As we got to the door a guy was wheeling out an animal on a cart. We both looked at it and then Ileana said "Dog?" I said "Yep, that's what I thought too". It for sure was a dog all skinned going out. Ick!! We found some chicken and decided we would try it. It looked good, was chilled, and Leo chatted with them and then said it would be ok. Ileana bought a bunch of veggies and we both got some fruit. This market is much cleaner and brighter than any of the other ones we have been in. This might be our new favorite market. Back home.
At 3:15 Cameron came walking out with his class. They are suppose to get out at 3:05 but he said they didn't even start getting ready until 3:05. He had a smile on his face and said "It was awesome" when I asked how the day was. He did go on to tell me that he sits by a very annoying kid who messes with his papers and just bugs him all day. I told him if it continued I would talk to the teacher but it is the first day so we will see how things go. He was happy he didn't have any homework. We walked out to the van and I showed him his picture on the bus. He said "Whoa, my teeth look huge". He then went on to make big beaver teeth while looking at himself. A few pictures and then we were off for home.

Cameron thought it was pretty cool that he was on the bus. |

Funny. |
Cameron played outside with his friends and then they were all in our apartment playing the game of Risk. Cameron tried to get Todd to buy it at Kid Land the other day but he didn't. Ryley and Tobias brought it up. Cameron was the only one that hadn't played it before. It was funny listening to them try to explain it and "trash talk" each other. This game seems to take forever.
