Alejandro's Birthday

Today was Alejandro's 5th Birthday.  My favorite little 5 year old was pretty excited.  He invited the Hindman's and Cameron over after school to play with him.  He also had Ganzalo over.  Once all the kids were in their apartment Alejandro decided he only wanted to play with Ganzalo.  So all the big boys came up to my apartment to continue their game of Risk.

At 4:30 we all went back down to sing and to have cake.  Of course we had to sing in Spanish, English, and Chinese.  All the kids enjoyed the cake very much.  Most had 2 pieces.  Cameron stuck with just one.  Ileana made a chocolate layer cake and in the middle she put strawberry jelly.  Then it was frosted with white frosting.  It looked delicious but I just had never heard of anyone using jelly in a cake.  It must have been good though because the kids devoured it.

The kids played Wii for a couple more minutes and then we had Alejandro open his present.  He seemed to like them but went right back to playing Wii.  At 5:00 we all left so the Carrasco's could go bowling.  It was a fun little party.
