I had to be at school by 9:00 to catch the bus with Cameron and his class to go to Haibei Park. We loaded up the bus and headed to Tanggu. We got off the bus and Mr. Singer said "Ok, now we need to find where the boats are" as he started to just look around. We have been there several times so I pointed in the direction we needed to go. Off we went.

Waiting for directions. Cameron was in charge of carrying
the soap for the bubbles. |
We rode the paddle boats first. In my boat was Cameron, Larry, and Larry's mom. The boys had a blast. We were cruising around and we came to a bridge. We could see the water ended but the boys wanted to go under the bridge. CRASH! We didn't fit. It was so funny. We alerted all the other groups that were headed that direction. We were in the boat for an hour. At first we thought that would be too long but it ended up being fine. The last 10 minutes 6 boats held on to each other and all the kids were laughing and thought it was great. Kids are so easily entertained.

He was drenched in sweat by the time we got off the boat. |

Check out this awesome car...I mean boat. |

Boats hooking on to each other. |
We got off the boat and grabbed all the stuff to take to the table area. We walked on a path and arrived. We basically took over the area. Chinese people were staring at us like crazy. The kids played with bubbles, made balloon animals (Or swords in Cameron's case), kicked a soccer ball around, and just hung out with friends. Everyone was asking Cameron to make them a balloon sword. He was getting irritated but continued to make them.

Grabbed a drink and started activities. |

The pizza's arrived. Papa Johns. It got really quite while all the kids ate. It was a nice break. Some of the kids were having a pizza eating contest. Simon won with 9 pieces. After lunch we cleaned up and headed back to the bus. Back to school we went.

Lunch time. |
At school Mr. Singer put together a slide show of pictures that he took through out the year. It was pretty good. It was nice to see the kids doing so many fun activities. Then we checked out some writings the kids had done then I left. The kids still had to go to Chinese class before going home.

Herman and Cameron showed us the robot they made and programmed. |

I ran over to Rachel's. 7 girls gathered orange items for our kids orange gift bags for the last day of school. The tag says "Orange you glad it's summer!" Such a cute idea. I have never seen so much orange in my life. The kids will be excited when they see them.
Ran back to school to get Cameron. We had to say our goodbyes to Michelle, Maddy, and Haley. They are leaving for the States and we won't see them again. There were a few tears. I hate goodbyes and there are going to be a lot of them in the next week. We ran and got Todd at work and finally went home.
