The Parrot had a 14 year Anniversary party. Mike, the owner, had a hog roast along with chicken, steak, salads, potatoes, desserts, and free flowing beer. He also made a drink called Parrot punch. It was terrible. It tasted like suntan lotion. No way was I drinking that.
We walked over with Stine and Jakob. Megan and Jon were waiting for us already. We chatted for a while and waited for Carrasco's to show up. We grabbed dinner. It was good. I do not usually like the food at the Parrot but the hog roast was really tasty. There were quite a few people there. It was nice to go out for dinner with friends. We do not do that very often.

Alejandro is a silly boy. |

Alejandro loves Todd for some strange reason. He likes to do
what Todd does. |
Once it got dark Mike had some fireworks. There was a new lady in town and when she walked out she couldn't believe they had the fireworks in the street. She said "What about the cars?" I said "Welcome to China". She laughed. The workers set the fireworks off. They were about 2 minutes long. Not overly excited but at least he tried.

Here come the fireworks. |

Wow! |

Manuel, Cecilia, and Scott were enjoying the show. |

We thought Marcela was sleeping. She was tricking us. |

The boys played outside for awhile and then shared the Kindle. |
We walked back home around 9:30. A fun night with friends.
