Art Day

We received an invitation with Cameron's picture on it working on an art project to go to an Art Exhibition.  We were going to see our child working with their art and see their projects.  That is what the invitation said.

Todd was able to get off work and go with me.  Of course this is the day Mr. Xue was late.  I told him to pick me up at 2.  He sent me a message at 1:57 saying he was going to be late and it would be 2:10.  I was instantly mad and pretty sure I had steam coming out my ears.  I sent him a message telling him I was going to be late now.

I walked out to the street to wait for him.  He came barreling down the road and picked me up.  We had to go get and then get to the school by 2:30.  We were almost running to the auditorium.  I was afraid we had missed whatever Cameron was suppose to be doing.  We walked in and Todd asked Big Manuel if we missed anything.  Luckily he said no.

First there was a performance with drums.  Then a Chinese guy played an instrument.  Todd and I were looking at each other like "what in the world is going on?"  We thought this was about the kids art projects.  At the very end there was a video of all the kids in grades K-5 that showed them working on art projects.  This definitely was not an Art Exhibition.

This group was good and entertaining to watch.

This was a pretty cool instrument.

The kids did a great job listening.
