Tianjin Sunday

We started the day at 9:00 going to IKEA.  Traffic was terrible for awhile.  I was beginning to feel sick with the on the brakes off the brakes.  We finally arrived to a mob of Chinese people.  I'm pretty sure they all go to IKEA on weekends just to sit, sleep, and play with the toys.  It was packed.  The Wallace's did some bob and weaving moves to get out in front of all the Chinese.  Then we were home free for awhile.

We were looking at desks.  Looking and looking some more.  Cameron was starting to get irritated because the Chinese people started sitting in the chairs while he was trying to look at desks.  They were in his way.  He did end up finding one though.  He was super excited.  We walked around the store some more until we had everything we needed.

Back in the van and back in traffic heading to Texas BBQ for lunch.  We finally arrived.  We all ordered and we ordered 4 pizza's to take home for lunches and snacks for the week.  It is an understatement to say the Wallace's LOVE this restaurant.  Todd even said it was his favorite of all restaurants in China.  We ate, hit the grocery store, and headed back to TEDA.

This says "Sausage For Children".  What does that mean?

A quick stop at Cold Food Warehouse and then another quick stop at Tanggu Veggie Market then home.  Cameron played outside with the boys because it was a beautiful day.  He even had to go back inside to put on a short sleeved shirt because he was sweating to death.  The boys came in to have a NERF war but I told them it was too nice to be inside.  So, they all decided to play baseball...even the dad's.  Ileana, Ainsley, Marcela, and I watched.  We had cars stopping on the road to watch, people on bikes stopping, and a couple walked right up to where we were to watch.  We cause quite a stir when there is a baseball game going on.

Hey batter batter.
