Goodbye Luncheon and Birthday Party

Amor and Neil Britt have been in TEDA for over 3 years.  Their time is finally up.  They leave on Wednesday to start their new life in North Carolina.  Amor has been ready to leave for quite awhile.  Cecilia organized a going away lunch for Amor at Ashanti.  About 14 girls showed up.  Cecilia had the tables all decorated nicely and had one of her friends bake some awesome looking cakes and cupcakes.  All the girls said they were delicious too.  Too bad I gave up sweets for Lent.  It was a nice way to send Amor off on her new adventure.

At 4:00 Cameron and I went down to Carrasco's for Marcela's birthday party.  I was helping.  Cameron helped and participated in some of the activities.  15 kids were there.  Ileana had a bunch of Minute To Win It games.  I told her about some of the games and gave her the website to look at when she was trying to figure out what to do.  Most were easy but still fun.  The kids had a blast.  She had fruit, chips, and pizza along with cupcakes.  We only had a couple boys that were not behaving at all.  The one boy is what I would classify as a monster.  He would not live very long if he was in my house.  He was very rude and disrespectful.  All 4 of us adults were on him the whole time.  The only time he behaved was when he was eating.  Overall the party was great and Marcela was a happy girl.
