Airport Time

Todd got up and went to the gym. I went after him. Ran a 5k and wasn't dying at all. Felt good to run since it had been almost a week since last running since my gym was closed. Showered and went to breakfast. The omelets were wonderful for some reason. Maybe we were starving from not eating dinner. Back to the room. We watched some tv. I fell asleep watching Cowboys and Aliens and woke up with the sun baking in the window on me and man was I hot. We then watched Beasts of the Southern Wild. DO NOT watch this movie. It was not good. I'm not even sure what made Todd rent it. We watched the whole thing because we wanted to see how it turned out. The end was just as bad as the beginning.

We went to the lounge at 5:30. Luckily they had good food so we used that for our dinner. We had no idea what we would get on the plane so at least we went with a full belly. We hung out in the lounge for awhile and then went back to the room. We packed up and checked out at 9 p.m. Kind of funny we rented a room for the night but left at 9. We didn't have anywhere else to go all day so it was well worth it. Caught a cab and off to the airport.

In the cab Cameron read a sign that said " Over 3 million people ride in taxis everyday in Beijing. That is over 90 million a month. No wonder I am so busy".

We sat for an hour waiting for Philippines Air ticket booth to open. Once it did our guy took forever. Finally got our tickets and got through security. Found our gate and sat and waited for what should have been 2 more hours to board. Cameron fell asleep for 15 minutes right before we were suppose to start boarding. Delayed. We were in line waiting to board. Every time someone would ask how much longer the response was either five minutes or twenty minutes. They were just throwing any number out.  Finally on board and off to Manila.

Cameron reading while Todd was waiting for the plane to get in.

15 minutes to go and he just couldn't stay awake anymore.  It was
1:15 a.m. already.

He doesn't look comfortable but he was.
