Weekend Fun

Saturday started off with going to the gym.  It felt good to go back and work out.  Back at home we had the family weigh in.  Todd and Cameron both gained a little over a pound.  Me...lets just say "Oh 6 pounds I hate you".  I guess I should have stayed away from the Ding Dongs, Suzy Q's, and Whitey's ice cream while I was home.  Yikes!! 

We ran errands.  We hit the grocery store where Paris Baguette, a bakery, opened up in our grocery store.  There were people everywhere, music blaring, and a little mascot I made Cameron get his picture with.  After the store we went to get our picture by the Chinese New Year Dragon.  Our sub driver thought we were nuts I'm sure.  We tried to go to the Cold Food Warehouse but it was so packed with people we just drove through the parking lot and left.  All the Chinese people are out buying supplies for the New Year.  It is crazy everywhere.

At 7:00 Big Alfredo and Big Manuel came over for dinner.  Their families are not back yet so we thought it would be nice to spend time with them.  We had all kinds of good food.  After dinner Todd hooked up the Wii Rock Band stuff.  The guys and Cameron took turns rockin' out to The Beatles and Lego Rock Band.  Then Cameron introduced the guys to Dance Party 3.  Watching three grown men dance with Cameron was hilarious.  So glad these guys came over to hang out.  They left at 11:00 and we all went to bed.

Sunday morning Jolene, Bart, Sharla, and Will came over for breakfast and to watch the Denver football game.  Jolene made breakfast burritos, Todd made his famous egg concoction, Sharla brought bacon and smoothies, and I had chocolate chip muffins and spice cake cupcakes.  Good food but bad football game.

Great weekend!  We can't wait until our friends get back on Monday and Tuesday.  We have missed them.
