Thursday...up early and had left over pizza for breakfast. Our driver picked us up at 9:00 to head to Genting highlands. It is over 6000 feet above sea level. We stopped below the top so we could take the cable car up. We went half way so we could get out and look at a Chinese temple. Funny...since we live in china. (Our driver told us kl is made up of 50% Chinese, 40% Malaysian, and 10% everything else).

Back on the cable car to the top. It is a huge place. We heard a guide say there are over 16,000 hotel rooms up there. There is an indoor/outdoor theme park. The indoor part is in a mall. Tons of people. Our first stop was to genting sky venture...indoor sky diving. We paid our money but we didn't go until 1:00. We watched a couple people do it at 12 just so we knew what to expect. Ran to burger king for lunch then to the bathroom then headed back to sky venture. They called us back to the room to put our suits on and get briefed. Our flying guy was awesome. He immediately liked Cameron. He guessed we were from California. Nope, sorry. He explained what we were going to do. Ear plugs in, goggles on, helmets on, here we go. Once downstairs they turned on the air. Our instructor went in and demonstrated the right and wrong things to do. Cameron was up first. He went right in and started doing it. Huge smile the whole time. Back out. 2 other guys went. They both needed a lot of help so I was getting worried. My turn. In I went. I was doing it...sort of. He helped me get my legs right and then I did it. It was an awesome feeling. My turn was up and one other girl to go. Cameron and I were trying o figure out if we were done or not. The poor girl had a rough time. Her and the instructor came out and he grabbed Cameron. Later Todd told us he thought he grabbed Cameron to demonstrate to the girl what to do. But nope it was round 2. He was doing great and all of a sudden the instructor grabbed an arm and a leg on Cameron and started to spin him. Then they went way up high, back down, back up, more spinning. Cameron may have wet himself. He was having the time of his life. All I could think was "oh no. I do not want to do that". The other 2 guys went and the instructor spun them too. My turn. I told our guy I did not want to do that because I will get sick. He smiled and shook his head. I was doing great, having a blast, and then it happened. He grabbed me and around we went. My inside were saying "OH NO" but I was ok. Didn't even feel sick. We went high and then he tried to get me out the door but I couldn't get my arms to move. I was laughing so hard that I fell to my knees and crawled out. Totally cool experience. They video taped it for us too. After sky diving we bought the bands for rides. Todd splurged an extra 9 bucks for a fast pass. The first ride was kind of like a balloon ride in the air but moved along a track through the mall. We bypassed everyone and got right on. People were staring. Next ride was a monorail ride. Again walked by everyone. It was like we could hear them saying "what are those white people doing?". The monorail went inside and outside. We were able to see the rides we were not going to ride outside. Next was a haunted house. The couple with us made Todd go first. It was funny going through it. The anticipation was way worse than the actual thing. Roller coaster for Todd and Cameron and then again with just Cameron.

Decided to find our driver and hit a couple spots on the way back to the hotel. We stopped at a chocolate spot. Nothing but a store full of chocolate. The boys tried chocolate covered durian which is a horrible smelling fruit. It tasted ok and didn't smell. We bought a few caramels, a few banana chocolates, and Chile chocolates for our Mexican friends to eat with us. Next stop was a strawberry farm. We could have picked our own but with no way to clean them we got a satay of strawberries instead (kabob). Trying to find the exit we walked through a mushroom farm, went down Cameron road which was full of shops, then finally got out.

We drove back to the hotel. We were going to swim but Cameron decided just to relax instead. Todd went and got subway for breakfast (Friday) and some beers. We then went to the lounge before heading to dinner. We went to Jakes Charbroiled for steaks. Very good. Cameron and I both went to the bathroom to wash our hands. Neither of us could figure out how to make the water work. Luckily they have bathroom attendants. We had to go back in on the way to the hotel to take pictures. Back to the room to watch Ice Age then bed.
