Water Park and Sick

Todd left for work and I went to the gym to run.  When I got back I showered and then Cameron and I went to breakfast.  After we ate we headed back up to our room.  At 9:45 we grabbed the Carrasco kids and went over to the apartment to do some laundry.  While over there we taught the kids how to play Skip Bo.  They had fun playing.

Ileana picked the kids up at 11.  Cameron and I decided to stay at the apartment until 12.  It's comfier and more tv channels.  We walked back to the hotel and had lunch.  At 12:45 we went down to Carrasco's room.  We left the kids in the room while Ileana and I went and got our last mani/pedi.  At least we will go home with nice nails.

Once back at the hotel Alfredo went to our room to play.  Around 3:30 Cameron said to me "Mom, do you think it is cold because I am freezing".  I had a sweatshirt on so of course I answered yes. Todd had the room as cold as a meat locker so I didn't think anything of his question.

At 5:30 we hit the lounge.  The food was not very good again so I had some fruit.  Cameron also had fruit.  When he was done eating it he said "I feel better now".  Huh?  When didn't he feel well?

At 6:00 we went to the water park in Tanggu with Jessica, Lilah, Joseph, Megan, Jon, Hadley, Harper,  Mason, Fredy, Ileana, Alfredo, Alejandro, and the Wallace's.  everyone was having a great time.  Joe is 4 and he was loving hanging out with Cameron and Alfredo.  They rode the water slides together and had a blast.

They decided to go to the wave pool.  All of a sudden Cameron wasn't looking right or acting right.  Jessica asked me what was wrong with him.  I called him over.  He said he had a stomach ache, a head ache, and he wanted to go home.  Poor kid.  I sent Mr. Xue a message saying Cameron was sick and we needed to go home.  He was there instantly.  As soon as we got in the van he asked about Cameron being sick and asked if he had a fever.  He got us home quickly.

Once we pulled into the hotel parking lot Mr. Xue had a present for us.  It was wrapped in pretty pink paper. He was very proud and excited to give it to us.  I opened it.  As I was Mr. Xue looked back at Cameron and felt him to see if he had a fever.  Awe, so sweet.  I finally got the present opened.  It was a really neat tea set.  Loved it.  It even had some kind of certificate of authenticity in it.  We thanked him and told him we liked it.  He was so happy.  He really is a nice guy and he really does like us.

Up to the room.  I took Cameron's temperature...100.8.  Chills, stomach ache, headache.  Oh shoot.  I really hoped and prayed this would pass quickly.  I know how upset he will be if he can't spend this week with Alfredo.  Shower, food, Gatorade, apple juice, and a big comfy bed.  He even got Todd to sleep on the cot for the night.  I walked over to the apartment to get some Ibuprofen for Cameron to take.  A little tv and off to bed
