Tanggu Water Park

Ileana brought the kids over to our apartment so her and I could go to aerobics class at the gym. I hadn't been there in over a month and boy could I tell it.  The instructor had new routines and they definitely kicked my booty.  It felt good though.

We went back to the apartment and decided we would try the new Water Park in Tanggu.  We weren't even sure if it was open yet but new we could go to Hebin Park and ride the boats if it wasn't.  It was 11:15 and we weren't leaving until 1:45 so I had time to work on the blog.  I was dying to get that finished.

Cameron, Alejandro, and Alfredo stayed with me.  They were playing X-box.  I fed them lunch and then it was time to go.  We ran to the Renaissance to pick up Ileana and Marcela.  Off to Hebin Park.  As we were walking to the Water Park we noticed there was a beer tent set up.  We found out there was a Music and Beer Festival from 6-9.  It could have been fun to go to if Todd was in town.

We walked through the amusement park and all the kids saw things they wanted to do.  We told them we would come back another day to ride rides.  We found the Water Park but walked the wrong direction to get in.  Oh well, at least we could check it out.  Found the ticket booth and paid.  We do not think we paid the right amount but we weren't going to argue...it was cheaper for us.

Me with the Carrasco's entering Hebin Park.

Alejandro, Alfredo, and Cameron checking everything out.

Ileana checking out the beer tent.

The Water Park.

The kids immediately started playing.  The water was a bit chilly but it didn't stop any of them.  The Water Park was very nice.  It is still very clean and it wasn't crowded at all.  It was the perfect activity to kill 2 1/2 hours.  One pool had big blow up rafts the kids could climb on.  Alfredo, Marcela, and Cameron played there most of the time.  There was another area that had a pool and a lazy river around it.  The pool also had waves but only once every hour and they were lame...very small waves.  Then the last area had a dump bucket, water slides, and all kinds of things spraying water.  The Chinese finally made a good attraction.

A bouncy egg chair.

Starting our Water Park adventure.

Alfredo, Cameron, and Marcela loved climbing on this turtle.

Hitting the water slides.

Who needs a swim suit when you have underwear.

Waiting patiently for the waves.

Played in the spraying water instead.

Looking good Mr. Lifeguard.

Cameron was running to catch up with the kids.

We felt good knowing Superman was at the pool.
Red cape and everything.

Me and Ileana hanging out watching the kids play.

Ileana was Ale's towel...wiping the water off of him.

Cameron landed on top of Alfredo.

Can we go one more time?

Cute kids.

I almost wore this same outfit to the pool.  Weird.

We finally got the kids to leave.  We headed back to our apartments.  Alfredo came to our place while the others went to Ileana's.  She had to get the laundry and then they headed back to the hotel.  The boys took showers then played.

They were starting to cook the food and it did not smell good.

Around 4:30 there was a knock and I figured it was Ale or Marcela.  I yelled come in.  The door opened and there were 5 people standing there.  I jumped up and went to the door.  It was the packing company coming over to look at a few of our things.  They were suppose to call me before they came.

They wrapped up a basket, the Terra Cotta Soldier, and two lions and put them into a box.  Taped the box up.  They had to take them to get inspected to make sure they were not antiques.  They also measured the pictures we are taking home.  They were at our place for about 10 minutes but the whole time I was nervous for some reason.  I hate dealing with things like this.

Packing some of my stuff.

Dinner and a movie also filled the evening.  Alfredo spent the night.

Watching a movie.
