From our window we can look at the US Embassy. Hello USA. |
Is this Spanish? |
Entering the park. |
Check out the cars trying to get into the parking lot. |
We walked around and found a roller coaster Cameron wanted to ride. Afterwards he said it was really rough. Thank goodness it was short. We continued to walk and found a sign that said "Lego Town.". Of course we had to see what that was all about. Turns out it is a small Lego store. A little expensive but at least we know where to find Lego's if we get in a pinch.
Here he goes. |
Ready to hit the loop da loop. |
Lego Store. Shock of the day. |
Aren't the bathroom doors cute in the Lego Store? |
We continued walking and finally found the Segways. Todd and Cameron drove them. There was a course with ramps and speed bumps. Cameron wanted to do it again so we let him.

Over the ramp and headed to the speed bumps. |
Back in the car. We stopped at Jenny Lou's for cheese and then made our way to Sunny Gold Street looking for Toms dvd shop. It is no longer around that area. I did look in my purse lady's stall. I told her I would back next weekend with my mom. Off to the Shunyi district. Went to the toy store to buy a piñata while Todd went to the meat market. Then to Euro Plaza to hit the grocery store in the basement. Grabbed McDonald's for lunch then dropped Todd off at the airport so he could go to Harbin. We headed back to TEDA.
Overall we had a great few days in Beijing. However, I couldn't get over the feelings of missing Mr. Hu every time we got in the car. I'm sure I will get use to him being gone but I don't have to ever like it. As far as Mr. Xue goes he did a good job of driving us around, he seems to be safe, and he is nice. He seems to be a good replacement. Ok, no more about Mr. Hu. Moving on. Boo hoo hoo!
