IKEA

Jolene, Ileana, and I went to Tianjin to go to IKEA.  I had some picture frames to return. Seems you can get 8 X 10 pictures made but then you can't find frames.  UGH!   Luckily we had Leo, the driver, go in with us to help with returns.  We found the return counter and there was no one there.  The girl told Leo to go over to the machine and take a number.  Are you serious?  There was no one else around.  He did as he was told and then she waited on him.  It made the return so much easier with him.  We then went shopping.  It was quite an experience today. We decided to all sign up for an IKEA Family Card.  Ileana said it gives a discount every time you use it.  Plus they send coupons and things on your birthday.  Ok, the nice Chinese sort of English speaker helped us.  We all got our cards and went on with shopping.   Jolene was trying to buy a table and chairs.  Little did we know you had to get something different in the kitchen section in order to buy it.  We were through the whole store 3 times.  Checked out twice.  We are pretty sure Leo was not happy.  Oh well.  We finally got it all worked out.  4 hours later we were on our way back to TEDA.  Something we thought would be simple was not.  At least we know what to do next time.
