Up at 5:00 am and left for Minneapolis at 6:00. On the road. Made it to 8:35 and we had our first pit stop. Back in the cars and driving again. Made it to 10:30 and made our second pit stop. Again we were driving and made it to Mall of America at 12. Parked and in we went.

| This is how Mom and Grace spent their time in the car. |
 |
| The boys were totally relaxed in the van. |
The boys got wristbands and off they went to ride rides. First one was Rock Bottom. The boys loved it.
Grace and Kelly did some shopping and the rest of us followed the boys from ride to ride. The girls met up with us and Grace rode some rides with the boys.

Around 3:00 we finally grabbed some lunch. We had Johnny Rockets. It was very tasty. Shopped in the Lego store and got some airbrushed coozies, t-shirts, and a hat.

| Full bellies. |
 |
| The Lego characters were cool. |
 |
| This kids name was Cameron and he does great work. |
I have never seen 3 kids so excited to see the Sponge Bob characters. First the boys jumped in for pictures. We sent a message to Grace telling her Sponge Bob was ready for a picture because right when we walked in the mall she said "I hope I can get my picture taken with Sponge Bob". Too funny.
 |
| Cute. |

 |
| Then Squidwerd showed up too. |
 |
| Big hugs. |
At 4:30 we headed to the hotel to check in. Got all of our stuff to our rooms, suits on, and off to the water park.
Cameron and I rode the family raft ride. When we got to the bottom I said "Boy, I don't remember that being so lame.". Cameron waited in line for the surfing simulator. We were all standing around watching and we saw one older man riding a wave on his belly but next thing his pants were almost off. We saw his entire booty. We all cracked up. That is so funny to watch. Finally it was Cameron's turn. He jumped on the board and rode the waves. He did great.
The boys rode some body slides and we all did the lazy river. Scott, mom, me, and the boys decided to do the family raft ride. Up to the 10th floor to the ride. While waiting the boys rode a body slide twice. Our turn. This was a family raft ride gone wrong. The boys were back wards. Then Mom, Scott, and me around the back. We started out and mom was screaming. About half way down I got hot by a big blast of water. When I wiped my eyes I looked at mom and she was in full panic mode. Still screaming and hanging on to Scott. She was flying up but she thought she was going to flip out. Scott and I kept yelling "Mom, you are fine. You're fine". By the time we got to the bottom I thought she was going to hyper ventilate. The life guard stopped our boat and mom just sat there for a minute with a petrified look on her face. It looked like she was going to bawl. A few minutes later she was fine. Her heart was back to normal, after she made us all put our hands on her chest to feel it. A guy at the bottom told her when we came out of the tube the look on moms face was priceless. She had to tell him how scared she was. Then I started feeling more sick replaying the look on moms face. I was glad when she was laughing about it. Scott and I told her no more family raft rides. We told her she could only do the lazy river.
Back to the hotel room and we all had some food, drinks, and rehashed the day. Scott admitted the family raft ride was more than he bargained for too. The boys played Cameron's new Lego chess game. Off to bed.
