Tianjin

Todd went to work and I had a hard time getting motivated. Finally, I pulled myself out of bed and cleaned up the mess from the company last night. We waited for Todd to get home, had lunch, then headed to Tianjin.

Trying to do the Michael Jackson pose.

He looks good in Todd's shoes right?

We stopped at Water Park because Cameron thought he had grown enough to ride the roller coaster there. We walked in, bought a ticket, and waited for the next ride. It was his turn but the lady measured him. Dang! Still to short. He was mad but not overly surprised since he measured himself while Todd got the ticket. I think he was hoping they wouldn't notice. Oh well. We finished walking around there.

We then went to Changhong Park. Never been there so we thought we would check it out. Not a lot to do but we did rent a paddle boat. Pedaled that around for about 20 minutes then docked it. Made our way back to the van.

The guys are working hard.

Me and my honey.

We were about to try and shoot Cameron through the hole.

Metro was next for some groceries. Bought what we needed and loaded it up in the van. We told Mr. Xue to take us home. We said having a new driver would show us new things when driving around and today this was so true. Where Mr. Hu always took a left to get on the interstate Mr. Xue took a right. He must know what he's doing right?  The good news is we saw parts of Tianjin we had never seen before...good and bad parts. We went by 2 places we want to go back to that looked interesting. The bad part is we somehow made a complete circle. So what we saw before we were seeing again 45 minutes later. Seriously? "Look kids there's Big Ben" was being quoted in the car. FINALLY we were on the interstate and headed home. We should have already been home lounging on the couch but no.  By this point we were just thankful we were headed the right direction. The annoying part is Mr. Xue didn't apologize or even seem flustered. He had to know we were annoyed. Again, oh well. Just another moment of living in china.
